Looks like other customers had problems putting the desk together and I did too. It's a nice desk. I didn't have that much trouble lining up the holes but most of them didn't line up so we had to push/pull it together and finally it did. I bought my desk at Staples a few months ago and love it. It is very functional and provides a great space to work. My small file cabinet fits perfectly under the desk, creating more office space.

Absolute garbage
Save your money and don’t buy this trash.
Assembling it is a nightmare as about half of the holes do not even come close to lining up. Don’t worry about having enough parts you’ll have plenty to spare unfortunately you’ll only achieve about 80% assembly as a result

Not precisely made., So when you assemble the l, at where the two table surfaces meet you will have a gap. It's just not precisely made. Otherwise it is what it is, inexpensive furniture. I think they could do a little bit better on the finish. But overall it's satisfied and need we won't be returning it

Decent value for the money, easy to build
Bought two of these to place in an L-shape for a boys dorm room for 2 students. Worked great with lots of surface area. Instructions are easy to follow. Only issue is a slight misalignment with one piece higher than the next, where the two desktop pieces meet. Poor quality
I’m disappointed because I like the idea of this desk but the first desk was chipped along the edges and the second desk have a long scratch on it. There also seems to be a problem with getting the desk to align, so there is a cap that I can’t seem to close. The black frame is nice, but some of the screws are not aligning with the desk top.
