Best Printer I've Ever Owned
Granted I've only owned 2 other printers before this, but it is by far the best. It's incredibly easy to set up (unlike HPs thanks to their app), the print quality is excellent, and it prints incredibly quickly. Print heads clog easily
Print heads clog easily even using Brother INk exclusively. The printer has a regular self cleaning routine designed to eliminate this problem, but if you check the youtube channels, this occurs far too frequently. Cleaning is a tedious,messy job that doesn't last long. I had high hopes for this printer. Should have been a workhorse. But I can't print in color anymore...

Brother printer bombed
My printer never worked; could not get it past set up. On/Off switch did not work once I pulled the plug to reset. When I Pulled the plug to rese it would not come on at all. An asset of as printer
I especially like the printer's ability to print on both sides without having to print one side and then reinsert copies for the other side. Looks like I'm also getting lots of use out of the ink supply.

It just works
This is the first printer I’ve owned that just works. Easy setup, and then all you have to do is hit “print “ and a perfectly fine page comes out the first time, no need to even get out of your chair. I recommend it highly. The only downside is that Brother’s marketing department is kind of needy with requests for feedback.

Trouble with Setup
Cannot figure out how to setup with laptop - can use the app on the laptop to print PDFs but cannot print in word or excel to name two examples. Instructions do not explain the full setup of the printer. Does not print document quickly which may speak to the thoroughness of the quality of the print job. Lower your expectations on this printer
the LED is so tiny that you need to get down to it's level to actually read instructions. Wireless continues to drop. General power failures reset everything - no self reconnect. LED instructions are not intuitive. Plastic paper drawer and paper shelf is filmize and close to worthless.
Overall a 3 because the print quality is good. I dont anticipate buying another bro...

I’m saving ink over my old HP
I am happy with my Brother. Since purchasing my printer I have only filled my initial ink. This printer is awesome and I’ll never buy another HP printer again.

Excellent Machine ; I really like it.
