Print heads clog easily
Print heads clog easily even using Brother INk exclusively. The printer has a regular self cleaning routine designed to eliminate this problem, but if you check the youtube channels, this occurs far too frequently. Cleaning is a tedious,messy job that doesn't last long. I had high hopes for this printer. Should have been a workhorse. But I can't print in color anymore...

Unable to scan wirelessly. Must use cord to connect to computer. Can not scan both sides of document. These are my biggest issues with this printer.

extremely frustrating
I am using a Chromebook so if you do too, stay away from this. I had to reset to factory settings for every printing setting. Now it stopped working all together. I didn't even get through the first cartridge of ink. This is disposable garbage. Do not buy. I wasted so many hours trying to set it up. It is designed to fail. If zero stars was available ...

The printer works very well after setup. The setup instructions are not completely correct. After linking the printer to the WiFi router, simply go to setup to add the printer to available printers.

Your delivery was fine. The installation software kept sending me in circles, and was very frustrating. The printer works fine after installation is successful. I would have bought an ethernet wired printer if I had noticed in the specs, but the wireless connection works fine.

Terrible
Don’t buy this printer. As another review stated, the ink gets clogged. I don’t have the time, the patience, or the skill to be able to clean the printer heads (wherever those are). In a time when I need my printer during a project, I am doomed. I ran out to buy new ink cartridges, spend over $100, and still to learn that the headers must be clogged and a new cartridge ...

Didn't outlast the included ink.
Heard good things about Brother printers so I thought I'd be getting something decent. I haven't replaced the ink yet and the printer will no longer successfully feed paper from the tray or the back. Every attempt from the tray jams. The rear slot pulls the sheet in about an inch and then reports "no paper fed". Waste of almost $200.
