Probably the worse printer I have ever owned
The printer does not work more then It does. WiFi does not work at all. The lights and scanner light will not shut off. The automatic feeder jams up. When printing it takes multiple papers at the same time

Through the printer is out of warranty at this moment the printer has stopped printing. The nozzle assembly sounds like it prints but it doesn't. I am still using the ink that shipped with the printer...So spent $902.17 on a lemon.

Great printer, but scanner jams all the time
Printer works great, however the feed mechanism jams most of the time, it has always jammed most of the time, I have faith that it was never intended to not jam. Needless to say, when I scan I only scan one sheet at a time.

Saves big time on ink.
Bought this last year and waited to write this so buyers hype would not skew the review. I like the 5170 - a little slow but the idea of a whole year until refills is a HUGE plus. I have had problems all along with wireless connect and my desktop. It has really been a pain the last three months. Just download an update - hope that helps.

Good while it lasted.
Printer stopped loading from sheet feeder a few months out of warranty. Second Epson that’s stopped basically at the end of the warranty period. Will not buy another Epson. Just my opinion.

Disappointed
I'm rather disappointed in the newer Epsons. I had one some time ago and it was flawless and printed extremely well. The newer ones seem to be made with less quality. My feeder keeps getting jammed or won't feed at all so I end up making copies or scans one page at a time on the glass. Trying to print on photo Epson photo paper not working out as it keeps getting jammed...

not impressed not worth the price
I bought the Epson Eco Tank Pro ET-5170 for my small business office and wasn't impressed at all its loud and slow. Set up wasn't easy at all. I had to manually add the printer to the computers and create a port. The touch screen is very small and hard to see and touch. The copies feed out its backwards and if you want it to come out towards you have to open the paper ...

one for my office and one for home

Great Printer
Great printer easy to setup very pleased with the product. Love the Automated Document Feeder. I used it to scan about 20 pages of I document i created to send to someone. Sure beats scanning individual paged 1 at a time.
