Great on cinder block
I'm a teacher and I use them all the time in my classroom. Work on all materials including cinder block.

Don't Waste Your Money Like I Did
I.bought about $45 worth of these things and if what you're hanging weighs 0 pounds you will be fine. Don't even bother trying to hang pictures with these things because they will stay on the wall for about an hour and then hit the floor.
