Epson 4850 is the best printer by far. I am a greeting card making using computer graphics and photo paper for my cards. The color is always excellent- the HP I had was not so good. I highly recommend the Epson.

Generally a good printer but numerous problems with it. Updating drivers, not printing full pages, had to go back to factor to be refurbished.

Came highly recommended
Only installed a few days. Setup went OK. Definitely have had easier but got it done. Haven't scanned, faxed or copied yet but had Epson previously so don't expect any problems. Only printed a few pages. Not impressed with the vibrentcy of the color. Kept the box if it doesn't improve.

Epson EcoTank ET-4850
I've been using an HP 8600 for over 10 years, and it finally gave out. I was reluctant to purchase a different brand. The sales consultant at Staples was very helpful. I brought it home followed instructions with no difficulty and am off and running. No issues at all. I use 5 PC's and all connected without issue! Printing quality is good!

Very Poor Connectivity
Attempt after attempt, talking to customer support, talking to my companies IT department, this printer will not stay connected to the internet / WiFi. After many attempts to fix this issue, I get nothing from Epsion.

Ink refill is outstanding
It was a nightmare to connect, the instruction was a junk. After 6 hours of playing with it I got it working to a point. When to BBY and paid them 100 to come out to set it up. I’m not in love with it yet. It took hours to set up.
I like its size, ink component, and forecasted efficiency. But…efficiency isn’t a highlight so far:
1. I need it to stay ready 24/7, not timed out after certain hours.
2. Large documents print a couple of pages then stop with an error message, even though there is no paper blockage or other visible problem.

So Far, so good
The printer is new, but so far, my wife and I are VERY happy with this printer! It works great, and is wi-fi connected, so we can print from any of our devices.
We’ll have to wait and see how the eco tank ink works, as opposed to the cartridges.

Poor quality. I wish I'd never bought it
I just bought this printer a couple of days ago. I tried to make copies using the automatic document feeder. The feeder would not work at all. It wouldn't pull in the document and would cancel the scan and send a blank sheet of paper out of the print tray. The message on the screen was ADF paper jam. the ADF had no paper jammed in it at all. It was a nightmare trying to...

This worked ok for the first month, albeit slowly. Then for the past few months it’s been extremely problematic. It constantly cancels jobs mid-print for no apparent reason. Epson went backwards not forward ,, so sad
Loved my earlier Epson w Eco tank, this one is so much slower, seems to always disconnect from wireless operation, only 30 days to try and tweak and then no warranty. Something has happened to Epson, a $400 plus investment, that is far less valuable, in slow printing and finicky behaviors... Disappointed

Epson printers eco tanks rock.
This is my second one I would never buy a printer that had cartridges ever. The one I’m replacing still works, but I’m taking it to my house and another state.
