Perfect for what we needed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keeps our master bedroom nice and cool. After a 3rd floor renovation, the HVAC was not designed for that large of an area, without making the rest of the lowers levels too frigid. This unit makes up for it, and now we don't have to keep our central air blasting to bring the third floor to a livable temperature.

Total Disappointment

Used only for a week and carefully packed in the original box to be used as a backup for the next time I would need it. Stopped working after 26 months.
Bought this unit 5/2022 already dead. Worked well why it worked. To expensive to take another chance.

Needs Improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple of months ago and while I overall enjoy it, I feel like some aspects could be better. It's quite loud, the filter seems constant dirty, and it doesn't seem to get as cold as my other models.

Great Night’s Sleep
I bought this LO0821GSSM air conditioner about three weeks ago and really couldn’t be happier. It is the second one I’ve owned, having given my first one to my daughter. It’s very hot here in the Tucson AZ area. What I use my LG for is cooling our bedroom at night, closing the bedroom door and turning off the central cooling throughout the night. Decent product, Reliable,
I have had this unit for 3 or 4 years has worked fine. Blows pretty cool not cold. Could be a touch quieter. I can sleep with it on. The exhaust hose gets hot and where it connects to the part that goes in the window slips out easy, needs to slide in a little deeper or lock in ,Exhaust hose connection to the back of AC could be better. Works well but won’t link to LG app

Works so Good I bought Two!
Works great. I bought two I like it so much. For some reason on one of the units that I use on the second floor, the reservoir fills up with water and requires regular emptying, which is inconvenient because of how heavy the unit is. Great bedroom chiller!
I bought this a couple of weeks ago to chill the master bedroom without having to bring the whole house down to 65 degrees using the 4 ton unit on the main level. It does a great job and with the Thin Q App I can set the timer to come on each evening before bedtime so the room is nice and cool before sleeptime. Resolved our cooling needs.
I bought this a couple of months ago and it has met our cooling needs. I sent back another unit from another manufacturer and the quality of the LG far exceeded that one.

Help for the heatwave
I have a restaurant in Louisiana and we have had record heat for over a month. The interior of the restaurant where we cook had reached 89 degrees and I needed to do something. Bought this to supplement the 4 permanent air conditioners I have in the building. It helped keep it down below 84 degrees on the hottest days.

Works Great!
I've been using this air conditioner for about a month. I Love it. It's quiet. This 8,000 BTU unit works better than my 10,000 BTU window air conditioner did !
