Best buy ... price vs quality at its best
Always purchased HP products but finally got fed up with HP's problems with printing. Took chance and purched this Canon printer and I'm glad I did. The price a steal ... the quality of the printed page just a good as my office printer (though much slower) and the set up a no brainer. Canon you have a customer for life!!

Canon uploaded Brother software downloads etc for the Pixma. SMH
Downloaded software, driver and instructions through CANON. Instructions they uploaded to me were for a BROTHER PRINTER, not the Pixma. Got a paper jam, removed the sheet I could see without issue. Pita printer is black hole for time
This printer is awful because it's supposed to be wifi but it's actually USB-based & doesn't communicate well with Netgear43 Gateway. It's also incompatible with Windows 11 and has communication errors constantly, the print spooler needs to be emptied manually & reset repeatedly. It's Working
Well, I can say this printer works. It's been a week and I still can't connect it to my Wifi. Luckily I had a cable. If you don't want to leave it open, you have to take the paper out to close the front cover.

No frills, cost too much for what it is.
This printer is not up to snuff, what I mean is, I paid $104 altogether and got a printer that any 50 dollar printer from another retailer could do, but better. This printer has been a NIGHTMARE to set up, it’s fragile, it’s all plastic and the printer ink doesnt last long at all. I’m very disappointed.

This is a newer version of our old printer, outside has exact same dimensions and keypad is the same. Works great as did the old one.
Bad news is that the newer version uses different ink cartridges, so now we’re stuck with a few brand new cartridges that don’t fit our new printer.
Wish they kept the same model cartridge, at $80 each, we’re disappointed.

Absolute Piece of Junk after first cartridge
Bought this in store.
The cartridges and/or printer are chipped so that the machine will not accept non-Canon brand printer cartridges and only print out a certain number of pages before they don't work. They won't work even if you refill them.
Even buying Canon brand cartridges, they won't give you the estimated page count. I printed maybe 30 pages on a cartridge...

Functional but cheap
The printer functions well. It serves my needs, but I am use to more sturdy and heavier printers. It's almost like a toy. But, it works. The ink cartridges started off cheaper, now they are more expensive than the printer was! The color is good!
