Brings new life to older stereo
Allowed me to make my ancient stereo receiver and amp smart. I have 6 pairs of speakers wired in my house, and this device made it possible for me to stream via AirPlay.

Awful. Unreliable. Waste of time.
Lots of promise but awful. Pairing is almost impossible with an iPhone. Integration with Home is terrible. Code is grey on grey so can't read it! When it finally does connect (if it does), it often drops out. And if you move it or tun off and on again, it doesn't remember. Big waste of time for what should be a very straightforward process.

Don't waste your money, dead in two weeks.
Sounds great, but difficult to set up. iPhone could not read the setup code on the back, probably because it's printed in dark gray on a black device. Random connect/disconnect SOLVED
Friends, I have finally solved the problem of connection/disconnection issues from an iPhone after several years of daily frustration! I have 3 SoundForm Connects connected to several high end audio systems.

Don't buy it. It doesn't work
I use it to TRY to connect from my iPhone or Mac Book Pro using Music app. It's a crap shoot. 20% of the time it works. When it does it cuts out after a 5-12 minutes. Not reliable. I tried everything. Rebooting, reinstalling. It doesn't work. I hate this thing

Been working flawless for 2 years now

Works but Expensive
Ok Got it to work. Wasn't as obvious as it should be to someone new. Perhaps the Sound-Form should acknowledge the support for the device. When I opened it I thought it was only for the SoundForm Elite. Can't find the correct app on the store. the others will not connect. I can't figure this out. It cost a fortune and doesn't work like they claim on the website. They make it sound so easy.

Rejuvenated My Old Sound Docks

Some models do not work with iOS
As other reviews have mentioned this product only might work with iOS. The tech support representative I talked to said that some models have a hardware problem and some do not, and from the consumer's perspective there is no way to differentiate between the two. No way to set up
I've tried using HomeKit and the Belkin SoundForm App (iOS) and neither will connect to this device. Spins and spins and then says an error occurs and does not connect. Poor choice in purchasing this.

Works well
Note that you do not need to use Belkin's app to set this up (in fact it did not work for me). Just plug it in, find the device in WiFi settings and when you select it, use 'other method', enter 8 digit code on the device and supply details for Home app.

Brought new life to my 50 year old stereo system
Hooked up to the Aux input using a 3.5mm to RCA adapter cable. Works perfectly. The only setup glitch was with the Apple Home App. This was the first device to it, so it took about 30 minutes to get past the downloading accessories and scenes screen, in order to reset the Home database. Software issues
My phone sees the device but refuses to connect to it. I've tried this with two different units. I'm using an iPhone 13 Pro with the latest software. Can't find any help online anywhere including YouTube. So far a total waste of money.

As long as the adapter is properly configured and connected to a stable WiFi network, it should work with any device that supports AirPlay 2 audio streaming. Check that the smartphone is connected to the same WiFi network as the adapter and that both are powered on and connected to the WiFi. It is recommended to reboot the adapter, disconnect and reconnect your smartphone from WiFi, and reboot the tested phones.
