Excellent Printer with the features I need.
I bought this printer as soon as I saw it available. Although its very expensive, i enjoy not dealing with cartridges. I've wanted to get a tank printer from hp but wasn't convinced with their older models. This one seems to have a lot of those issues fixed or added. I've been using it for about a week now and its been great. It needed a firmware update that smoothed ou...

Keypad Awful, Color Quality Marginal
Set up was relatively easy. Filling the ink tanks was a breeze and it seems to use little ink in printing. Unfortunately, the keypad on this is nearly impossible to use. When faxing or entering an email to scan, the touch pad has an odd setup for the numbers and letters keys only come up 3 at a time (example [A] [B] [C]). When trying to press numbers, even carefully or ...

It's new, so time will tell.
So far, all is ok. They are making these machines with the assumption that my boomer tech abilities will be able to figure everything out. I can see how having to access to an app and not an instruction manual may be intuitive for most, but it's a little inconvenient for a 70yo. No problem, I figured it all out. We haven't used the scan function yet, which was our bigge...

Great printer
This is an excellent printer!! I was debating about whether or not to go with the Tank style or stay with the cartridges. The tank style is the way to go, but be advised there is some setup involved with this model that is not for the plug-and-play type of person. There are numerous cardboard pieces, tape, and plastic transport piece that have to be removed. Then, ins...

Dead out of the box
Unit dead out of the box could not do setup.
Called HP, person was more brain dead then unit. Took him 30 minutes before we got to the problem. This is not my first bad experience with HP but it will be my last.
Staples was fine returned unit. They had trouble doing paper work but found away around computer burocracy.

HP Support on weekends is not good and instructions leave little to desire.
The printer is great IF you can get it working. The instructions are so poor I tried for 2 days to get it to connect to my WiFi and finally gave up and plugged it into my router. That worked great. Support is non existent on week-ends. I have perchased HP Printers for over 20 years and this was the worst experience I have ever had.

sleep mode and off line
while it was easy to set up and connect at first. It now goes to sleep mode or off-line and I cannot get it to print this has happened several times and I follow every instruction to get it printing and can't get it to print. Then for unknown reasons it will start printing again. Yes, it has full bars on my t-mobile box and HP print sees it and says either off-line or a...

Cheaply Made
Jams constantly. Picks up multiple sheets of paper. Bangs and vibrates like falling apart. Feed tray broke off. Paper catch tray too short. Legal size paper falls on floor. Piece of junk.

Software & Speed
Worst purchase. Nightmare setting up scanner function. Very slow response time and printing speed.
Never doing HP again should have learned my lesson from an earlier generation HP printer.

So far, so good, but...
I might re-review after using it for some time. My pet peeve is the setup requiring internet downloads and installation. One would think it could be setup in a place with no internet. How a disk, USB drive or whatever included.

HP disappoints
Disappointing product. The power saving feature forces the user to unplug the printer before recognizing a request for an output once it enters the power saving mode. This is on a Mac book air M3 2025. I will return it if possible.

HP Smart Tank 7301 Wireless All-in-One Color Ink Tank Printer Scanner ...
Love the printer itself and the functions (I don’t need a fax anymore), BUT the wireless set-up took awhile. I accidentally pushed the info button and a letter printed that provided me with the printer code and printer PIN. If not for that Printer Information Report, I would still be trying to operate the machine… So, frustrating to set up, but fine printer otherwise.

Great Color Printer
I really like this printer. It has excellent color printing of my photos, even on plain paper. Sets up easily; however, opening the portals to put in the ink is not explained well in the Setup Guide. It is a good size for home use and connected easily to my network. I highly recommend it.

Frustrating printer
Very disappointed in the printer design, especially the function display, which uses obsolete graphics and is impossible to figure out. The print quality is good, but I can’t get my iMac to send color photos to the printer.
This is my first HP printer; so perhaps that’s my problem. And the color print paper that was recommended made a mess of the photo. Anyone suggest a...

Dead on arrival.
I had high hopes for the printer, however out of the box the printer had black and colored streaks for every printing. Go through the alignment and cleaning protocols no help. The print was illegible and any attempt at pictures just created lines that made this one of the poorest printers I have ever used. The only thing worse than the low quality of this printer was th...

Printer Malfunctioned with in a Month
The printer worked great for the first 3 weeks I had it. Then the ink lines died and won't take ink from the tanks. HP sent new print heads but that's not the problem. Too late to return the item and if HP won't do anything further then I have a $280 paper weight and will never buy another HP product again.

New and Different
Printer arrived as scheduled in new condition and appropriately packaged. Had never done a tank before but setup instructions were relatively complete and setup was easy. This machine is used by location manager for production, email, software maintenance upgrades, and check printing. Have had no complaints from staff after several weeks so all is well. Anticipating ink...

Great little 8.5x11 printer/scanner only.
I can definitely see advantages to having a tank printer. We love everything about it, except for the fact that we cannot figure out how to get it to print legal size paper. We also can’t get it to scan legal size paper. I would imagine this is our fault for not knowing to look for that Before we purchased.
