Keypad Awful, Color Quality Marginal
Set up was relatively easy. Filling the ink tanks was a breeze and it seems to use little ink in printing. Unfortunately, the keypad on this is nearly impossible to use. When faxing or entering an email to scan, the touch pad has an odd setup for the numbers and letters keys only come up 3 at a time (example [A] [B] [C]). easy setup
I have only had it a month, but so far I like it. I was skeptical about pouring in ink into the reservoir without a spill, but it works. I did not have a mess after filling it. It remains to be seen if the ink will last 2 years. I hope.

Too difficult
The 7001 is Terrible trying to get it to run on the platforms compared to it's predesessor the discontinued 550 tank.

A Complete Piece of Junk. Had to Return It.
I spent an hour just trying to connect the printer to my home WiFi. I was unsuccessful. The next day, I spent over 90 minutes with HP Technical Support. We even did a complete factory reset, with no luck. Finally, the tech support recommended I return it.

Disappointment with HP
Quil did a good job delivering the printer as promised. The problem is getting the printer connected with HP. I had to stop trying due toothed required activities, but it is frustrating to know that it will take a full day to get over the HO obstacle course.

So Far So Good
I've only had the print about a week, but am enjoying the quality and speed of the printing. I must say the set up through HP Smart was not smooth, but two technicians, one from Staples and one from HP special services were patient and professional as they trouble shooted and got my printer up and running.

HP Smart Tank 7001
The ink is amazing in how much can be printed without needing refilling. The printer is a bit cheaply put together compared to the work horse that I had before which was the HP Office Jet Pro 8600. However, it is amazing to not feel guilty because you are printing a lot.

Easiest wireless printer set up I've ever done.
Print quality excellent, scans well, so far it is an excellent machine. Last HP printer (Pro 8000) I bought is still running after 11 years. Time will tell on this one. Use of ink bottles rather than cartridges was a major factor in selecting this model. I would recommend this printer.

Unbelievable Fast!
I am excited that I received a free sample of the HP Smart Tank 7001 All-in-One Printer. This HP smart Tank printer has unbelievable amazing new technology. I can use my Wifi to operate it wireless and not to mention the fast pace of the printing. It comes with 35 pages auto document feeder. I just love it.

I received a free sample of this printer to review and I love it. This printer is top of the line. It is super fast and the ink seems to last a long time. I love that I can print from my phone. It makes it so much easier. The setup was very easy as well and It was connected in no time.
