Loud and dated
Replacing a dead Pixma MG7000 series. This new printer is very loud or noisy. I would think it was broken if I hadn’t checked everything out. The tech is also very dated. Many of the features of my old printer are non-existent or manual with this model. No automatic tray for printouts is the biggest issue. It sticks out far and is delicate. My previous 4 in one printer died - Canon sent me a brand new one for less then I paid for the previous one. You can always get tech support on the phone, and they can help you on the phone. Life is too short for bad technology
Our old HP printer died. The paper pickup broke suddenly. Functions as MX870...more steps to access menu and print/scan etc
Replaced a failed MX870 Canon printer...(purchased 2014)...The TR8620a has pretty much the same capabilities as the MX 870...I am disappointed in the printer being downgraded and cheapened. The MX870 was more user friendly and operated better that the TR8620a...next purchase I will go to retail outlet and do a hands on review of printer and functions before purchasing!

The printer deserves 4 stars but the set-up & scanning software drags it down. The most bothersome feature is the "output paper holder" or whatever you call the extendable piece that holds the paper after printing. Great printer
Awesome printer for the price, setup was a breeze, zero issues with it. Liking it way better than my old HP Officejet (which always had paper feeding issues, and printed MUCH slower)

Quill doesn't support you when a product fails
I purchased this Canon TR8620 printer in late March of this year and it has had many problems. The ADF doesn't work when scanning documents.
