It does everything!
I love this Canon TR 8620a printer/scanner/copier/fax, it does it all, and makes it easy. Setup was surprisingly easy, I set it up on my phone and computer, and it was about the easiest setup I’ve ever done. You can use a QR code for instructions on your phone, but the printers display had them too… and they were clear and comprehensive, a lot of companies could learn f...

Flimsy Toy
I had 2 Canon Mx 922 the last of which only lasted 12 months. SAlthough slow, It was sturdy and well built with an excellent fax auto feeder. Canon replaced it with this TR 8620 under Warranty. The TR 8620 is a bulit like a flimsy toy. The Plastic bends in your hand and the contol panel will not stay in place when you enter numbers on the keypad causing constant errors ...

A decent photo printer
I purchased this printer for photos. The problems I have is with the wireless connection of which I never had with my older printers. The printer also turns off automatically after a certain amount of time of which you need to turn it on manually when needed. When you need to replace paper you need to reconnect wireless connection which I think is foolish. I hope I do...

Canon PIXMA TR8620a wireless all in one
Excellent all in one. Easy installation - I have used the print, copy and scan features and am well pleased. Really like the duplex printing.

Overall works well but has weaknesses in design and quality
Easy set up. Easy to use.
Downsides I've experienced thus far:
Flimsy plastic paper drawer in front and back. A bit concerned it's going to break at one point so have to be over-gentle with it.
Should come with a USB cable in addition to the phone cable that is included (for faxes). USB needed if wi-fi not working, for example.
Operation Panel doesn't "lock in" so ...

Pleasing performance!
This is my third Canon Printer, and I am sold on the Canon brand. Pictures are sharp and clear and the colors are true. I have downsized as I am now a widower, recently remarried. This printer meets my needs, for printing documents, pictures and copying. I am very pleased with this printer and I will continue to buy Canon products.

Never a Canon
I wish I could leave a ZERO Star review.
My first time buying Canon…thought why not, I have a Canon SLR.
It started with the software download, It failed. Error said, do not try and reinstall or I may void warranty. So I did a chat bot which led to a phone call from a tech. He gave me a site so I could access my desktop(was very weary of him doing this but he said it’s ...

Excellent Canon Printer
The Canon TR8620a is an excellent printer so far. It was easy to install, has many options and produces prints of very high quality. The duplex feature save a good deal of print paper. It is too soon to say how long the ink lasts. This printer performs as well as the Canon Mx922 which it replaces, although it’s plastic case and parts are a bit less sturdy.

Good so far since it printed right out of the gate
Based the low number of bad reviews, I jumped on this model despite it wasn't a refillable tank system. Setting up the printer on my WiFi and it's assistance in that, of course didn't work, but did it manually. "Scan to computer' didn't work, of course, and other functions didn't either but IT PRINTS, so that part is good. Love how small it is and help from Staples tech...

Canon Printer
This printer is wonderful. We replaced one just like it without the Fax feature. It lasted several years before it broke down.
We love the ease of use and all the features. Great choice!

Roller Sprockets clashing due to paper jam
My previous Canon all-in-one printer lasted about 6-8 years. This replacement had a paper jam within the first week - concerning about it's longevity. The rollers continued to turn while the paper jam prevented movement leading to loud, prolonged gears clashing - is there long term gear damage now? Also, I could not find the paper jam removal guide.

Terrible purchase
I bought this priniter twice; the first one lasted a fair amount of time (3 to 4 years) before paper got systematically jammmed. As I had plenty of remaining ink, I replaced it by purchasing the same model. The second model had the exact same issue after...1 month !! not even after an intensive use - only like a few pages a week (less than 30 propably). Never again !!

Forced to upgrade to this but at least it works
I had a Canon MX870 for years. It was reliable. A bit ago I got error message that print head is faulty. Contacted Canon and was told printer no longer supported, which really annoyed me. I did. I did not want to discard a perfectly good printer, for which I had a backup store of ink, just because Canon wanted me buy a new one! But i had no choice. I called the “up...

Great for the price!
I got this to replace a Pixma MG7720, which I had really liked but was toast. In comparison, this one seems slower, much cheaper made, & of poor design. However, as stated, it wasn’t expensive & does everything I want it to do. It would be nicer if the control panel didn’t have to be open to print & if photo paper didn’t have to load from the back. Both of these des...
