Amazing Quality in a Compact Size
I got this printer to replace my 10+ year old multi-function printer. The printer was a breeze to setup and was functional pretty much right out the box. Great space saving multitasker
Out of the box, setup was pretty straightforward. I appreciated the mobile step-by-step instructions, as I can get frustrated with technology if something is not apparent pretty quickly. This printer is horrible and for this reason, every other day I have to reinstall the drivers just to keep it from printing a 3 inch wide black bar across the paper. Also it refuses to print from the paper try but instead it only wants to print from the rear of the printer. Good value, but disappointed in clumsy scanning capability.
Overall pleased with the value of the product for the cost and instructions were pretty easy to follow. A little disappointed that the printer is advertised as having scanning capability, however to scan you need to open a downloaded utility tool on your laptop/PC. Poor Cannon
Printer is fine but install and turnup instructions are VERY poor - obviously written by non-English speaking person. And if you want to physically connect printer to computer you need to go buy a cable to connect it. I think the cable should be included with printer.

Exactly what I hoped for.
Having had Canons in the past I was sure I wanted this. So far I have not been at all disappointed. Except for the tiny font on the menu screen I love everything about it.

Lasted 19 months
Bought this printer in 2023 now in 2024 post warranty it is printing very wavy lines not usable. I tried all the recommended alignments and cleaning procedures. Useless. Tried to contact Canon but you have to register the product tried that too but it said it didn't recognize the serial number. I give up frustrating. Won't buy another Canon.

Headache
I have owned this printer for awhile and it has been nothing but a headache. It will not stay connected to the wifi. My router is 10 feet from the printer. Every time I turn around I have to reboot the printer and hope it will connect.
