Poor instrument
Darn things do not write unless fully vertical to hard surface. Pad with lots of paper is not hard enough. I would return but lost 1 from the box so cannot. I think lousy product.

Must have these pens
Going to Staples while depending on them to have my Uniball 207 retractable pens in black is what I do on a regular basis. Staples has not let me down. The store is neat and organized which really helps me to do this errand in the short time that I have.

Wanted a pen to discourage check washing
I don't send many checks any more but I wanted to find a pen that would make it tough(er) to wash any of my checks that get stolen. The clerk was very helpful and identified the several possibilities available. These pens are relatively inexpensive so I feel like I got a good deal.

My favorite out of what’s available
I tried different pens and I’m not bothering with paper mate any more. Sharpie markers are good but for writing these are best and medium works for me.
