Very Misleading
I returned this unit, the ad says duplex 11x17, it does NOT, and says that you have 11x17 tray, you do NOT. you must put the 11x17 paper in the back manual feed area, terrible design. I would NOT recommend this product.

Reliability
I purchased another Brother printer after the last one (MFC-J5330DW) gave me 8 good years. So far, after only 6 weeks, the new printer seems very good and gave it 4 stars with the hope that it will be reliable and I can give it a 5.

Excellent All-In-One Printer
This all-in-one printer works really well, and fast. The print quality is excellent, better than I thought it would be. It takes awhile to find the computer when using the scan feature. That is the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars. Haven't bought any ink refills, so can't review that experience yet.

Ok printing and value but...
After 4 months of (frequent) operation in a small office setting, the unit has functioned well EXCEPT that it has an appetite for double sided paper.
The unit will jam one out of five print jobs, 20% of the time. For whatever reason, it pulls back the paper for the back page print and jams.

Great for printing 11x17
Love the ability to print to 11x17 paper. My only wish is that the print resolution was higher like a previous printer I had this size.

The ultimate home printer
The MFC 6955 does everything we need as music teachers and professional orchestra and choral directors and players. We can easily scan.and sheets of all sizes .And two trays plus the feeder tray allows us to have letter, legal and ledger sizes instantly.

Beware of Brother updates!
Printer / scanner was working fine until I did one of their stupid updates! Why do they need to do updates on a printer twice a week?! Now the scanner doesn't work at all! Wish I never bought it. Printer was fine, company is crap!

Good Brother Printer
It's nice but has a few quirks. Sometimes it does not see my laptop so I can't scan. Other than that so far it's great. I like brother products.

Since I purchased my Brothers printer about three and a half months ago, I have not been pleased with the connectivity to my printer. My printer is about four yards from my house router and it will not print on command. However, for some reason, about midnight it prints everything that I had tried to print that day. Frustrating!!!!
