Simply put, the device is unreliable. The device often goes to sleep while I'm working on something and must be powered off and restarted. It's operation is completely unpredictable.

not what I expected.
It isn't that wasy to connect to WiFi. It also isn't as easy to setup as the HP's. This machine always disconnects from WiFi and I have trouble hooking up to my home WiFi.This machine works better using USB to use this machine. I wished I would have paid a little more and purchased a HP printer.

Easiest Set Up
This brother printer was super simple to set up right out of the box. It gives the option for online or offline setup which I like and it also has the option to use an app for your phone. Great quality, double sided wireless printing
Print quality and color quality are great! Easy to connect to a Wi-Fi network. Love that it prints double sided. The printing speed is pretty good too.

Great printer!
Honestly excellent little printer. The set up takes a bit of time with having to connect it to wifi and letting it run through various print tests, but it was a still simple to work through and the quality is amazing. It comes with an ink refill service trial and a 1 year limited warranty. I cannot make a single complaint thus far!

A great printer!
The Brother Inkjet Printer MFC-J1410DW Printer is very easy to set up and use. It connects easily to WiFi and other devices for easy printing. The print quality and speed are very good, and the paper loads effectively. I highly recommend this printer!

Unreliable and high maintenance
So sorry that I dumped an HP printer for this unreliable and high maintenance alternative. The ink lasts only a few weeks, and I don't run a business - this is mostly printing sheet music for choir rehearsal. Lines and blanks are frequent. clunky but does the job
it’s a basic functioning printer and scanner, no complaints with the actual way it works but it is a little bulky in terms of size and weight so make sure you have a place for this because you’re not gonna move it around once you set it up. good print quality and relatively easy to connect to wifi.
