I would have loved to give this product 5 stars but right out of the box this product malfunctioned and didn't work on any of my devices. Staples gave me a refund with no problems or questioned asked. I didn't get another NXT flash drive because of my experience.

Format first
Great drive at a great price. Only thing is that it comes formatted as FAT32. I had to reformat it to NTFS or exFAT for larger files over 4.2GB.

Won't work
None of the devices I needed to use the drive for could read the flash drive. Even tried to reformat it and still could not be read.

What I needed
Had to download a program to update the map in my car. The 256GB was too big to format to FAT32 and my other thumb drives were to small to hold the install program and map. Finally after searching through a literal handful of thumb drives I had on hand, I ordered this, received it promptly and was able to load the updated map to my car.

Very fast write times
I bought this product because it supports USB 3.2 instead of USB 2. If you write large files, the time it takes is dramatically less for USB 3.2. I don't think I will buy a flash drive again that doesn't support USB 3.2 or later. The price was very reasonable and I'm happy with the purchase.
