Poor scanning
If you need to scan, do not buy this machine. It takes five tries to scan anything that is multiple pages. To their credit, Staples replaced it once, but the new machine continues to grab multiple pages every time, no matter the paper type. Nightmare for a paperless office.

The new laser jet printer
So far the printer is almost as good as the Laser jet 4050 that it is replacing. I loved that printer up til I could not get a printer replacement for the ink. If I can find some one to replace that both will be in use for a long time.

Bought an HP Pinter/scanner. it stopped printing with a note that there is a paper jam. There is no paper jam and nothing is stuck inside! Staples told me the sensor must be broken.

Okay but needs to be better
The copy speed is slow but works fine, just dont be in a rush. The top scanner never would scan lined up in the feeder. The flat bed scanner started warping after 1 year and a half and we had to replace the whole thing. The printer itself worked fine though. All in all an okay printer but the scanner definitely needs to be better.

Scanner broke
A piece broke off the scanner in 3 months and then less than 6 months later, the entire machine doesn't work at all.
