Wedding Photos
It's been great. I have been making over a hundred prints of our wedding ceremony photos.. And this little device has been working fantastic, I love it

Terrible!
This printer is very particular about SD cards. I have a variety of cards that the user manual says are acceptable, that I use for trail cameras and it doesn’t read them. It tells me that there are no pictures on the cards when there are. Even the usb port is unusable. For me it’s useless.

Bad USB Experience.
- The Printing is great
- USB connection is Horrible, Windows 10 or 11 problems with driver and connectivity. (No official Drivers..Bad)
- Wifi Taking long time to connect when works.
- SD reading bad too.

Terrible!

Best photo printer at an affordable price
This is the best compact photo printer I bought recently. Not only does it prints great quality pictures, the cost per print is way more affordable compared to other printers in the same category.

Doesn't work with a computer
If you plan on printing from a computer (Windows or Mac), don't buy. It only works with Android or IOS devices.

Wouldn’t recommend.
4/5 photographs printed had streaks running through them, ruining the photo. When I checked online for a fix, I found that the same problem persists for many of the people that purchased this product.

WAS WORKING WELL UNTIL LAST MONTH STARTED DOING THIS
I BOUGHT THIS 6 MONTHS AGO AND NOW THE PHOTOS ARE COMING OUT SPLOTCHY YELLOW. I CALLED AND WAS TOLD TO RETURN FOR REPLACEMENT SINCE SOUNDS LIKE INTERNAL PROBLEN

Easy to use - battery question
Is it possible to attach a battery in the back, like the CP1300, or do I have to use an adapter with cable.

Simple to use, not simple to find a battery
My wife got this as a gift from her father. We have used it many times. Not easy to find a battery for it. I can’t even find the information for the battery just the fact that it can work on battery power.

Pictures to small for 4x6 photo frame.
Bought this for printing on the spot photos for customers buying my product. Not 4x6. Actual 3 15/16x5 7/8. Photos are no good for 4x6 frame. I wish I had noticed this before purchasing the additional ribbons and paper. Disappointed

I was in sale at camera store when canon introduced the SELPHY . I six printers ( 800,1200,1300) and have used them golf team charity tournament and for relay for life events . Love them and I have ordered the new 1500 model

Clunky iphone interface for editing
High quality color prints. However, the iphone program interface is confusing. It is very hard to crop and edit the photos before printing. Borders are cut off frequently. Plus, there are two programs available to use from canon on the app store and they do not mesh well. If canon fixed the editing interface, this would be a five star product.

buy extra paper and ink at time of purchase
Excellent quality prints about 50 cents each. Can make collage prints or multiple small prints on 1 4x6in sheet. It takes special paper (typical 4x6 photo paper does not work) AND ink (sold in a combo box). Unfortunately, it was in short supply on Christmas day when the gift was opened.
