Lorex surveillance computer unit
Cable works fine but the computer thing makes a lot of racket when I turn it on.

Crapped out in 72 hours
It took me forever to run the cable, then 72 hours later it crapped out. I don’t think I’m going buy another cable and run it AGAIN. I’ll either pay someone else to do it, or I’ll just be without that camera.

Crapped out in 72 hours
It took me forever to run the cable, then 72 hours later it crapped out. I don’t think I’m going buy another cable and run it AGAIN. I’ll either pay someone else to do it, or I’ll just be without that camera.

Give your customers a choice.
The cables work fine but why doesn’t Lorex give their customers a choice of cable lengths instead of sending out 60’ cables with all of their cameras. Between our Church and our house I have about 600’ of waisted cable.

3 of the 4 cables work great.
But getting Lorex to replace the non working cable is like pulling teeth!
I had an electrician test it. We switched plugs, bench tested our cameras and are 100% confident that the 4th cable just isn't working. But instead of replacing it, Lorex is asking for model numbers of our cameras and our unit and asking for proof of purchase and photos of our security unit....

Performance of product
So far performance is excellent but it’s too early to review this item that is in my attic to connect my Lorex cameras.
Come back in a year and ask this question when the product has had to perform in extreme attic heat temperatures in South Florida and I’ll be able to provide a more meaningful assessment.

Good cables
Needed more cord for my camera connection. Online reviews said the off brands fail or have bad signal. Used these as extensions. Worked flawlessly. Great signal. Bought the “open box” version. The wires were brand new. I think they came from a camera box that was opened, cause these wires were never used- factory sealed.

These Premium 4K RG59 cables
These Premium 4K RG59 cables list as an extension. They are not exactly an extension. They are simply longer. You cannot plug the original ends from the camera into them and then plug not the DVR- its not a fit- hence they are not extensions. They are also not 100 ft. They are 120 ft. These will work for awhile.
These will work for awhile. Really needed outdoor RG59 cables with BNC connectors. However, Lorex does not offer them and a pain having to hunt them down on another site.
