Stuck cartridges
I replaced the cartridges and it tells me that I have to press down on the cartridges but when I do that they are locked in place and

Not very happy now....
I'm pretty ticked off that after a firmware update my cartridges that were working JUST FINE have now rendered the printer inoperable. The solution from Epson tech support? Buy Epson ink and call them back if that doesn't work. So now, I'm out of commission until the new cartridges arrive. No, it does NOT work in Windows XP!
I bought this printer 6 days ago, and we have struggled to make it work on Windows XP until this afternoon. Despite what the specifications sheet says, THERE IS NO DRIVER FOR WINDOWS XP TO RUN THIS PRINTER. It's probably a good little printer if it works on your system, but don't expect it to operate from a Windows XP computer.

USES TOO MUCH INK!
I haven't owned this printer or used it, but for approximately 6 months. I also have potentially, not exaggerating, printed 200 pages, black and maybe 25 color. It's now time to replace the ink for the 3rd time. I think I'm going back to Canon. Wish Epson would take this back as I still have the box and it's now headed to the trash.

DO NOT PURCHASE
Cannot print black and white if out of a single non black and white color. This requires you to replace the color cartridge even if more is left. Overall predatory and environmentally unethical business practices. Look into opensource printing and stay out of these larger printer companies ecosystems. You will regret it.

Don't buy
It runs out of ink way to soon. I don't think I printed 25 pages and it's already out of ink. I don't understand how it can be out of ink so quickly and the price of the ink is more than the cost of the printer itself! Not happy here.

Save your sanity! Don't Buy!
This printer won't set up. I have read instructions for setting up three times at least, and the User's Guide. The set-up looked very complicated, and it is. I have set up many programs, computers, and printers. This is horrible!

does not print / no support
spent the last two days trying to install this printer. finally everything went through and was verified good. tried to print something. no go. error message says printer is off-line. it is not. tried to contact epson, but, after filling out a form. it said it expired and to refresh it. everything i had typed was gone!! as far as i can tell, i bought a big plastic paper...
