Great for the babies
Super great value. Felt good on my babies skin. And the package was like normal lotions. Classic pink pack with the baby glow! Now adults can use this too!

If it is isn't broken, don't fix it!
As an adult daily user, I reluctantly adjusted to the new formula several years ago. It made sense to remove the parabens, phthalates, dyes, and sulfates. I really missed the iconic smell! Bring back the old formula please.

Yuck!
I am so disappointed in the new formula. This lotion is my go-go to for myself and my kids. I do not like any other lotion. I loved the old formulas mild smell and loved the moisturizing quality. I do not like the new formula
I bought the pink and purple baby lotion with the new formula today. The pink bottle smell is awful. And both lotions are greasy and are sticky. I would not use this again. Before the new formula, I used both everyday, multiple times a day. This was a big disappointment.

New scent is bad. Offer a scent free version.
I like the lotion for treating my dry skin, but I would rather have it be scent free. This new floral type scent has some real hang time and lasts for quite a while. It starts to get annoying after a while. Other members of my family are sensitive to odors and stop using the lotion. Please change it back !!

Horrible
The new formula as of December 2025 is horrible. It smells gross and it’s watery. I feel like once it dries my skin feels like I never even used lotion. I have used this lotion for 30 years and used it on my kids but unless the formula changes I willl never buy it again. Which is said because I would have picked this lotion over anything.

Smelly, Sticky
Please bring back the old scent! It was the quintessential "baby" scent. The new scent is somewhat offensive to the senses. While I appreciate that Johnson's is using less, more natural ingredients in the lotion, I also find the formula to leave a tacky/sticky film on the skin. I will probably search for another brand, like Baby Magic, or higher-end Aveeno or CeraVe...

Terrible
This new floral scent is just awful. My daughter is 8 and I have been using the original formula since day one. I am now looking for another brand to buy because unfortunately neither of us like the new one. I would say a least offer both options for the ones who do like it.

Bring back the old formula?
I religiously use this baby lotion but this new formula is terrible, it does not smell good and does not feel good, it feels greasy. Whomever was the head of this idea needs to rethink why you would completely change what I'm sure is one of the most popular products/ lotions after all this time. UTTER GARBAGE…
Dear Johnson’s….YOUR NEW FORMULA IS COMPLETE TRASH!!! I’m a life long user of your original formula, but you guys GOT IT WRONG big time with this new formula. Probably a way to save a buck on your end, but you’ll lose two bucks on the consumer end. Way to go. Big mistake. Bring back the original formula.

Smells like OFF Mosquito Spray
The new formula has a smell of OFF Mosquito Spray. I used to LOVE this product. I will NEVER buy this lotion again unless you change it back or offer the original non-chemical, non-bug spray smelling lotion. DO NOT BUY THIS NEW CHEMICAL SMELLING LOTION!!!

Prefer the old formula
The consistency is very watery. It also stings a little bit when used after shaving. The afterfeel is not the greatest either. The old formula was much better than this one.
