Simple, Cheap, what more do I need?
This little printer is perfect for a simple, no fuss option. No frills, but that doesn’t bother me at all. I got this to print just now and then, but it has quickly become my go to. I’ve used hP Instant Ink for years. This is even cheaper to use! Very happy.

Low Quality prints
Even when you adjust the colors, the quality is very low. Maybe okay if you only want to print papers for school, but even the text is not bold when set to a high contrast.

Canon Pixma G1230
My HP Photo smart died over a year ago, could not find another new one. Want a printer that can print quality photos.
Had bought an HP office jet pro 8025e, and while it may be fine for office work/printing, it was poor at photograph printing. I did not access their HP Smart as I don't like their tracking what I'm printing and what my jobs may be.

I got a Black Friday deal online with free delivery a few days later.
Installation was fairly easy though it took a little longer than expected because a couple of steps were not clear (at least to me).

Good prints, long lasting ink tanks
I needed a printer for homeschooling purposes that printed a high volume of good quality images and worksheets, without constantly needing to replace expensive ink cartridges. Great to use
I got this printer for my daughter to use for college. She is really happy to have a printer for herself. It prints smoothly and evenly. It connects really fast to her laptop and gets the order to print in seconds. It does a really great job in printing in black and white and color. It really is a good printer to have and to use.

Love the large ink tank
I got this because i needed a new printer, wish I'd done a bit more research. I would've like to be able to print from mobile devices. However, its compact enough to fit on the desk and not take up too much space, the ink will last a long while, print speed is fast and setup was quick.

Economic
I replaced my ancient Cannon inkjet printer I had for Four years with this PIXMA 1230. My new printer is amazing! No more replacing expensive cartridges that last only a short time. Love the ink tanks, printing quality and printing speed is great. Prints on a variety of media and is economical. If you're looking for a reliable printer, I recommend the PIXMA 1230.

easy to set up and use
This printer was easy to set up and so easy to use. I love the fact that the ink is refillable and that it saves you money. The print quality is also great as with most canon products! cant wait to print photos of my kids on this.
