I thought that "bold" would write boldly. when I push hard it has less skips but it doesn't write a bold black at all

It fits, but...
...wish Staples carried genuine Cross refills. These fit Cross pens, but the ink is light and somewhat uneven.

Refills are the best.

Wrong Refill
Mark Cross refills usually fit my silver Tiffany ballpoint, but these do not; I plan to return them and find other refills that do fit.

Questionable quality
I bought these replacement pens as Cross pen replacements are no longer available at my Staples. It took me a while for the replacement pen to start writing. After a while it did write but required extra pressure for the pen to write. Not an enjoyable writing experience.

The Cross pen refill fit the pen well. Writes well as pa ballpoint. Disappointed that Cross makes no Gel refills for pens. That would make a 3 star survey, a Five star survey!
