Love my Canon Multifunction Printers
I already have a MF642Cdw & MF628Cdw multi function printers. They have been great and fairly cost effective. The MF656Cdw had some double sided features i needed for my scanning and printing that the others do not. It set up nicely and is giving me the same great quality print that I get out of the other two printers. Great investment.

Rip Off
Bought this about 7 months ago. Waste of money. A great printer until you have to refill toner. You MUST use the VERY OVERPRICED Canon toner cartridges or it won't work. So if you are on a budget, this is definitely not the printer for you. I would go with a Brother. Mine was a complete waste of money.

High Quality Printer
Printer is solid. Prints well. Scans well. Setup was very easy. Downsides would be the size...though I can look the other way since changing the toner cartridges so easy, and the fact that the software comes on a CD. But that's not an issue since it was very easy to go online and set up the software.

What a printer!!!
It’s a beautiful printer. I wasn’t expecting it to be so large, but pictures can be deceiving.
Installation was easy, I didn’t have to download the drivers and the printing is clear and concise. It’s fast and the colors are exactly as shown on the picture. Not muted at all. It has all the bells and whistles and I’m very pleased.

Wanted a printer that used toner ink instead of ink cartridges. Love the printer. Except when I want to enlarge a picture I wish it had Fit to the size of the Page like my older printer had instead of trying to come up with the right percentage on this printer. Waste a lot of ink this way.

Print fast but loud
It prints very fast but very loud. For some reasons, it lost connection to my computer and couldn’t find the printer. I uninstalled the driver but couldn’t find the driver by itself. It took me a long time to establish the connection back.
It changed the IP address and beeped automatically a few times in a week.

IMPOSSIBLE TO SET UP
I’m giving this printer/scanner 2 stars because it does print, and well, but HUGE problems setting it up. Was on the phone with Canon support for an hour and he still couldn’t get the scanner to work, and a serious IT guy also can’t make it work, but he’s going to take another shot tomorrow. Stopped working 7 months after purchase
DO NOT BUY!!
Purchased this for my small business and at the 7 month mark it stopped working. Contacted staples and they recommended I call Cannon since it's beyond their 3 months mark of support. Cannon basically told me to purchase a new printer from them. Avoid this printer at all costs

Great Laser Printer
Had to buy a replacement to a Konica-Minolta 1690MF due to a lightning strike through the cable modem line for our internet. Printer was easy to setup and configure with my home network. Fantastic AIO for the office, or home
Does everything. I got it specifically because it will do SMB scanning directly to a computer without having to rely on the software being installed. Great of an office environment. The double side scan option is also a great time saver.

Although I had a great experience with Holly, I am wholly dissatisfied with the replacement printer. I previously had an imageCLASS 8560Cdw for 10 years. On the new one the touchscreen is horrible, Most times I have to press the icon several times before it actually goes to the next screen. Printer is horribly loud
The printer started occasionally making a loud squealing noise (not the appropriate whine noise) while printing shortly after we purchased it. We dismissed it since it was only occasionally.
