Meh. Quirky and glitchy.
After connection issues, I just gave up and bought a cable to connect the printer directly to my laptop. It is still weird and glitchy. Often a page will print halfway, then stop, spit out the page and start over. Runs through toner quickly, I buy the XL and I still have to buy a new toner pack every month. I probably print like 10-30 pages a day on weekdays.

Epson XP-5200 Printer Review
This printer replaced an old Epson printer. This model makes the old printer primitive as it is quieter and faster when printing documents or making a copy of something. The Epson Smart Panel App allows easy access from my iPhone to have the printer print out a pdf file or document. I can be at the kitchen table and have the printer work when I am eating lunch. Great Printer
Great Printer -- it has been a long time since I had an Epson -- pleased with my choice -- especially how compact and small the footprint of this printer is compared to everything I considered at HP, which is what I have been purchasing. The new app-based setup was straightforward, and no issues.

Not worth a dime!
There is no manual nor anything in the box telling you even though you don't use color ink the printer WILL NOT WORK unless all of the color cartridges are FULL AND FULLY CHARGED! Same applies for a "maintenance box " that pretty much no one else carries but Epson. You need to order it and have it on stand by for when your printer all of a sudden with no warning stops...

Horrible
It does not work smoothly at all. Takes up a lot of ink. Slow and not easy to work with.

Expensive replacement Ink!
The printer is exactly what I needed. The few pages that I have printed so far have been professional looking. I love the all in one but the replacement ink costs more than the printer AND Epson explicitly explains that you can not buy an off brand of ink replacement. They update their printer regularly to prevent you from not buying the Epson brand.

Horrible
The motherboard for this printer went 3 months after purchase. Staples was unable to fix but was under manufacturing warranty. They wanted $120.00 just to look at it. For $129.00 I bought a new printer to replace this one!!This model isn't worth the money.

Horrid Ink Life
The same as all the other cheap printers out there. I'm lucky to get 20 pages of black & white printing out of a 222XL Claria black. It would be a better use of my time and money to drive to the library 3 times a week and pay to print there. It would certainly be cheaper considering a package of Epson cartridges is $60+. Epson Expression Home printer.
It does an excellent job of printing and I like that it is also a scanner. I wish it was easier to load paper though.
