Confession: I ordered the Peet’s French Roast by mistake but am I glad I did. This is a strong dark roast coffee with a hint of smoke—not sweet. It’s the perfect way to kick start my day.

Arrived with "Best By" date in the past.
When I opened package all 4 boxes had "Best By" date in the past.
The first cup I brewed was tasteless—nothing like real Peet’s coffee. I contacted Staples, and they replaced it with coffee whose “Best By” date was a year away. That one tasted really good.

For those that enjoy a coffee that bites back... in a nice way, this is a coffee you'll enjoy. Flavor that is bold but not to the point of mortal wounding, just a great fun jolt. It is exactly what I was looking for. Peet's doesn't disappoint, no matter which of their coffees you try.
