Great value at a very reasonable price
Our HP printer went on the fritz so we bought this printer to avoid expensive cartridges in the future. Once we got through the start up stage, we have found this printer 4 times faster and half the size. We are loving the value we can foresee in our future!

Install and first pages were easy enough by following the instruction correctly. I have a WiFi home network with multiple extenders, about half using the same network name and password setup. Too complicated
I purchased this because my old print was having issues. I am using USB connection and the startup guide was filled with for me superfluous information, I really do not need a scanner or fax. Near IMPOSSIBLE to INSTALL SOFTWARE!
This is the most difficult and cumbersome download and set up I have ever endured. I owned an Epson ET- 2850 that lasted for about 18 months. I had a hard time installing the 2850, but this was near impossible. This is the last one!!
Now I have to go this again when I hook up a wife's PC.

Get out of the Ice ages Epson.

Expensive brick
Bought it Jan 2025. Used it a handful of times (82 pages total). Now, a couple months after the warranty expired, I'm getting error messages. Spoke to support, they can't fix it and since it's out of warranty, I'm out of luck. Great printer for pictures, documents, and long life ink!
So, to get away from ink cartridges and the trap they put you in (I won't mention names but you know who you are). TERRIBLE PRINTER - DO NOT BUY EPSON
We are a small business that rarely prints. Printer is always clogged and needs trouble shooting, and/or cleaning. The printer itself no longer prints color. I've done all the necessary steps to unclog and clean the printer. Not worth the money or the time. Super disappointed i switch from HP.

Cannot connect to 5 GHZ router (Bell Fibe)
Well, after all the setup/installs (over an hour), I still can't use it because it won't connect to a 5 GHz Wi Fi ! The Bell Fibe router doesn't give me an separate password to connect at a lower rate. The documentation included with the printer is quite clear that this printer can't use 5 GHz. Extremely complex to use for no reason. There’s always an issue with something: missing colors, software that needs updating every freaking day and still doesn’t work properly.
Printing isn’t as costly as with other printers, and that’s the only positive, but I’m constantly fighting just to get my work printed.
I wish I could give a good review, but I can’t :(
