Prints fine. Screen and instructions are marginal
The main reason for not having higher than a 3 star rating is the screen: only readable at just the right angle; inadequate instructions; clumsy entry procedures. Once you get past this, it prints just fine.

It keeps not working because it thinks that it is out of paper!

Fast, multifunction, replaced a canon 620. It took a number of tries to get the wireless working but it's great now. Takes it little practice to use all the functions.

Quiet printer and fast, but has 3 issues

Difficult to set up
Got it to operate with a wired LAN finally, thanks to a helpful tech via their hard-to-find 800 # (which I wish was at my fingertips). Now having switched over to fiber, it won't print from my desktop. Forget about setting up wireless.

Horrible Quality
The printer/scanner quality is simply awful. The installation is very complicated and it is bigger than necessary. I returned it.

Printer is ok.. multifunction not so much
Printer works well. A few things of disappointment 1)There is a sheet feeder but unit doesn't do duplex copying from the sheet feeder.can only do 2-sided copying from the glass 2) the display screen isn't touch screen 3) wifi password is extra long so can't configure wireless option.

Works fine but downgrade from older models.
Works great. Some of the "new" features since older versions of this same printer are real downgrades. The manual paper feed was removed so now it's an inconvenience to print an envelope. Having the indicator LED to show a wifi connection was helpful; that's gone now. Some annoying changes - WHY? But overall the printer/scanner works fine and as advertised.

This is my second Canon image class printer the first one still works great and is over 10 years old only got a new one only because it would not connect to my new laptop and no longer had support from Canon. The toner never dries out and produces great quality .

difficult to connect to phone and computer
I’ve had a fair amount of printers over the years but this one is by far the most difficult to figure out how to connect to a phone and laptop. I somewhat tech savvy yet can’t figure this out. watch videos on youtube of how to connect this copier it’s insanely difficult. avoid.

I was very disappointed when I found that I have to reprogram the paper feeder every time I want to print an envelope. It's time-consuming and frustrating. The machine does print quickly and quietly. Expensive for a b/w only.
