Perfect Solution
Perfect solution to the narrow windows of this old house. No air conditioner would fit; but the LG portable 10,000 BTU fit the bill and cools the area quickly with easy-to-use controls and great options. Highly recommend this unit.

Stay away from this unit
The unit was working for ONE Summer and then compressor failed! The unit is just over a year old and warranty expired. Very disappointing!
I have 2 other portable AC's: Midea & Hisense; both are over 2 years old and working perfectly.
I will stay away from LG's products!

Perfect Solution

Terrific air conditioner
Excellent unit to cool a given room. Cooling a bedroom that is 20x25 feet. It will be colder then you might really want. good control adjustments for this room

Lasted one season and I. This area that means periodically through a 3 month period of time. When I tried it the next season and it didn’t work (was stored upright in a closet in the same room) I called and it was past the one year date of purchase. A lot of $$ for barely any use

It doesn’t get cold. The company said they would send someone to fix the unit in 3-5 days and now it has been more than a week.

Stopped cooling
the first two years the ac was working great, after it just stop blowing cool air and the fan runs. Since the day I got it I cleaned the filter every two weeks or when the red light would turn on. I don’t understand why it stopped cooling. This is so frustrating bc it’s a very expensive unit and I thought it was going to last for years.

Awful unit
Bought this unit because our old LG portable A/C was wearing out (our old one lasted about a good 8 years). I would have given this air conditioner five stars as it does the job of cooling a small room very well but it has become very noisy in high speed mode over the last year. Cool/Warm
The air conditioner has all the benefits including wifi and portable. The only weak point is the remote control to reach the many benefits is too minimal design. I highly recommend this product to help keep you cool/warm.

Poor quality unreliable unit
Excited to have this unit to cool my large living room. Worked well initially. Stored it appropriately then turned on this summer and no cooling. Warranty expired. No service available where I live. Unreliable expensive purchase and would not recommend!

Summer Too Hot
I got this portable after our central air went out in Texas during this INTENSE 100 degree heat and its been WONDERFUL cooling our room, The air is SO COLD and I LOVE IT. Im going to get a 2nd LG portable for my bedroom.

Reliability evaluation
I have purchased over the years about 10 of these. Have 4 in use currently. Although not as efficient as a window unit, the setup takes just a few minutes and can still have access to window on days that don't need ac. 2022 model Not built to last!
Worked great until it didn't. The plastic squirrel cage fan came apart and the AC stopped working.... trying to find a replacement isn't being fruitful... had it less than a year...
