The noise level is high due to the small supply area making high velocity air noise.
The temperature drop is only average 15 degrees from return to supply.

One of few with heat features
This is my 3rd unit, I'm hoping this last longer than the other 2. My first one and second one started leaking freon at 2 years old. My second still under warranty had to be fixed twice. So will see how long the 3rd one last.

failure to perform
i bought this AC on 6-1-23, had it installed, it was working good for a week and then it quit cooling on 6-11-23, i have not been able to return it yet,but when i do i'll get my refund and purchase some other brand of AC not an LG.

Not happy at all
I bought this and it worked great for 3 weeks.my house felt great! All of a sudden the motor stopped. There’s power to it but it just stopped. I’m in a rural area so it seems challenging to get someone out there to look at it. It’s al frustrating cause no one has even called me about it and it’s been out for about a month. Works great!
I bought my LG cooling/heating appliance about a month ago. It's so faithful during the summer months and good to me during the few and far between cold days during the winter here in deep south Texas! Fan blade was broken at production plant
My elderly neighbor's LW1221HRSM stopped working at 13 months. Of corse it's out of warranty. The condensing fan blade broke off 2 blades and locked up the fan when one of the blades got jammed. Here's the odd thing. Only one broken blade was found in unit. That could only mean it was shipped with one blade broken off and removed during manufacturing.

Powerful window unit with strong heat and cool
We purchased this unit to replace ours that was legitimately from 1970 something. We can only hope this one lasts as long! So far, we love the compact size and relative quiet noise level of this unit. The cooling and heating is perfectly sufficient for our large master bedroom. Worked great for 6 months and quit
