Cools the room
The machine is noisy, similarly to a window unit, and it feels like it takes longer to cool down the room than a window unit. But that's not unexpected and it does cool down the room. So for a room in which a window unit is not possible, I consider this a great buy, though I would suggest buying a higher btu than you think is necessary.

Not reliable
Bought this last year used it in our bedroom at night and it was great. Got it out this year and it won’t cool. The compressor doesn’t kick on the one time it did it wasn’t cool air.

Having issues
I’ve been using the unit for the past eight months, primarily at night, and it has performed exceptionally well until recently. I typically set the temperature to 66°F for sleeping, and the unit has always cooled the room efficiently.

Only Lasted One Year
Like many reviews, it worked great it's initial year. Tried to turn it on for the second summer and it wouldn't blow cold. For some reason you can't recharge it so to the trash it goes.. Support gave us a refund but I wish it worked longer..

Unreliable, disappointed with brand
Bought first one 3 yr. ago, it quit in less 2 yr. Bought another one 05/24, "rested" it for winter, first use 2025 was in March - did not blow any cold air. LG did give full refund. However, am very disappointed that this unit doesn't perform for a MUCH longer period of time.

Keeps Room Cool
I started using this unit about a month ago and it has performed flawlessly! It keeps my 15o sq ft room cool nd comfortable. It is easy to use and install.

Lots to be desired
Cheap unit means short life. This is my second one in a year and they seem to only last a few months. They do cool well and offer good styling but don't compare to the older LG models

Nice LG air conditioner
I bought this LG air conditioner in June, and it really is a nice model and keeps our upstairs area cool. Very satisfied with its performance.

one season machine
DO NOT PURCHASE used last summer for 3-4 weeks when home hvac failed requiring repair. After safely storing the portable AC unit for about 12 months, today the compressor kicks in but no cool air comes out. Unit appears to have lost the refrigerant similar to the other complaints posted.

Great size and power
Takes a While to cool the room but it works more than perfect! I think that it is a perfect option to small places and is very easy to move.

LG portable AC comes through
After much research, I chose LG's LP0621WSR. (I have awning type windows so needed to create a wood frame to vent the AC, but if I had had double-hung windows would likely have gotten a traditional window unit.) Great disposable air conditioner
Only worked for two years. Great disposable air conditioner. It appears that it leaked coolant from the closed system!. I purchased another brand 13 years ago and no issues!

Perfect for its size!
This is a strong A/C unit that will cool the exact size space that is it rated for. If you try to cool a larger are, then you may need a fan to move the cool air around. I am really happy with tis purchase, and it has made it SO much easier to sleep on these hot nights.

Disappointed
Don’t buy this portable A/C unit. This unit is extremely noisy and doesn’t turn off unless you unplug it. What a disappointment.

Cools OK But Lacks a Very Important Feature
This unit is ok. We bought this last summer to help cool our infant son’s room at night for sleeping. The biggest disappointment is that it does not turn off when it reaches the desired temperature.
