Inferior Machine
This worked perfectly for 2 weeks. Then it would only print from the manual feed tray. It would no longer recognize the bottom tray of paper. I did a "chat" with Brother and it was decided that the printer was defective. They sent me a new one and it does the same thing. From HP to Brother!
We finally ditched our HP and love our new Brother printer! The installation and setup was a breeze, and most importantly, the print quality is on point. So far, it’s been great not dealing with maintenance of ink cartridges like the old printer. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase 👍🏽

Works Great with Apple , Crap with Windows 11
The software to make this printer work is TERRIBLE for Windows 11. 4 hrs to get the darn thing to function with a HP laptop. However, both our Apple phones and i-Mac computer linked up effortlessly. Trouble from the Start
I replaced an older model Brother that was on my Wi-Fi network. After hours of trial and error and consulting two AI helpers, I was told it would not work with my Eero system. Horrrible model

misleading broken printer bad connection software
this printer is frozen. I cannot reset it, I have tried updating the firmware and using the diagnostic tools, but it is broken. Too expensive to have this bad of a software issue.

Impressed with my first color laser jet
Colors not as vivid as with an ink jet printer. Start up a bit slow. Duplex printing reasonably fast, but not impressively so. Major positives: no clogged ink jets. I've wasted lots of liquid ink trying to clear clogged ink jets; this color laserjet doesn't have that issue, a major plus. Nice printer, not the easiest to set up
I really like the way it prints. The set up was not so nice. I just fought with itself to get the wireless connection configured.
