Exactly what I needed for printing, scanning, copying, and printing envelopes... all in one! It's like finding a needle in a haystack. This is the second Brother I have purchased for the same purpose and the last one lasted about 8-9 years.

Unpacking the printer took some time as it was well packed. Installing everything was OK, instructions could have been a little clearer. Connecting up the printer was easy, hardest thing was re-routing the phone lines so they would be long enough to connect. Happy Customer
Perfect escape from HP. This Brother offers so many options and installation was a breeze. I WAS an HP customer for years but, their quality and software issues left be frustrated. Brother is in our house to stay.

Brother laser printer
So far I love my brother printer, it’s dependable and easy to set up and use. Although I haven’t had it long enough (6 wks) to give a complete review I’d say we are off to a good start.

Good printer, with a few changes could be great
Love the quality of the output, the connectivity options, and the flexibility it offers especially with scanning documents to send directly to your computer or to a dropbox account or email. There are a few issues with the printer however.

The duplex and auto document feed features work wonderfully. BUT, the quality of the color printing is at best so-so (compared to my 10+ year old HP that just died) the Brother scanning software that runs this machine is garbage, specifically the scanning software!!!! Curls Paper
Solid machine that prints high quality. However, it curled our paper. After a google search and many attempts to fix the issue, we were unable to do so. We use this printer to print deliverables to clients, so curled paper was a deal breaker for us. Staples Return process was super simple! Thank you Staples! No more plugged ink jets
I have been dealing with ink jet printers for decades and the problem that I have been having is that because I tend to go for extended periods without using the printer, whenever I do need to print something it never goes smoothly. We are pleased with the printing but have had trouble using the scanner and up to now have not even tried to use the scanner again. It worked at first and then stopped working and not sure why.

Printing is great. Copy & scan modes not so great.
I bought this Brother laser printer because I was tired of spending money on HP inkjet cartridges, which, in recent times, seem to contain less and less ink (shrinkflation). Gave us issues from the start and got progressively worse. 2 of the drums are shot after about 7000 print jobs

I love this printer
I have a Brother B&W laser printer and bought this Brother color laser printer so I can get rid of my HP ink jet color printer. I use it infrequently and the ink jet cartridges would dry out. The laser printer works every time and will never dry out.
