We hated this printer. We returned it after 3 months
Do not do it! Unless you are hardwiring one computer do not purchase this printer. The connectivity is truly awful. Great when it prints but constantly losing scan settings and drops wifi connection regularly despite having a self-managed, stable, private network

Almost perfect
Does everything it's supposed to do--efficiently with good quality. My only grievance is this: everytime it warms up to print it makes this alarming power-surge noise, and I wonder if this is a defect. Other than that, it's a 4.0

no longer happy with brother
this is probably the 5th brother printer i have purchased. they use to be great. this model was not cheap by any means. but here we go again already with problems. i am getting a line down 1 side of copies. the scanner has a mind of its own. some of the things that are mandatory for me to copy legibly, do not copy legibly when using the best density setting. not happy w...

I thought the machine functioned perfectly. Great product. I sent it back because it did not print color, which I thought that it did.

Works great
I do a lot of scanning of multi-page documents sometimes double-sided using the auto-feeder and no issues so far. The glass accommodates legal-sized documents. I also print a lot of envelopes - for some reason they print backwards from the little icon on the MP tray but the print quality is fine and now I know to put them in the other way. Print quality is good...

Great Machine when working properly
We really like this machine but when printing 11X14 bulletins it tends to jam if the paper tray isn't completely full. It can have plenty enough paper in the tray for what we want to print but if it gets down to 50 sheets left it doesn't feed correctly and jams. This is very annoying.
