Very troublesome
We had a C405 that worked great. We "upgraded" to the C415 - what a mistake. Just about every time we try and print it makes us change paper from plain white to pre-printed form - for no reason. It can be from the same application printing a second document. The C405 just printed - whether it was a check or a document. And there is NO WAY TO TURN OFF this "feature"....

Do not recommend
I had this printer one day before I got an “adjustments in progress” error that never went away. As a notary, my printer is my bread and butter. This printer cost me a day of work.

Very troublesome

Exceeded Expections
Purchased the unit several weeks ago, and am impressed with the capabilities and function. Print quality and speed are excellent as described, and the unit was easy to learn to use.

Great Little Printer
Great little printer... once I got it up and running. No documentation regarding how to setup was included - thank you Google and YouTube I was able to figure things our. Very Disapointed
Our company runs 40+ Xerox printers and overall have been very happy with them. A little over a year ago we upgraded a C405 to a C415. Big mistake! The service tech was out 3 times during the factory warranty period with no resolution. The printer has repetitive jams as well as terrible noise that can be herd multiple floors away. Performs as Expected
The initial delivery was of an inoperable device. After undergoing the process to secure a
replacement, I am now happy with the choice of a C415 for my solo practice needs. I have yet to test the FAX feature, but like the ability to feed 100 page VA claims in one call. The 250 sheet paper tray is a downgrade from my C405, but not much of an issue for me.

Prints well -- Difficult to set up
This C400 printer seems to be designed by the marketing department. You buy an all-in-one printer only to find that if you want to scan, you need a wi-fi attachment. Scanning still does not work after a year so I have a Laser printer, not an all-in-one. The drivers are obsolete too, so you have to use the global driver to get it to print. Cartriges are very expensiv...

Very nice machine
The print quality is great. It was very easy to setup and configure. I have it in a home office and it's not very loud and is very quick to go into energy saver mode. This machine has all kinds of security capabilities and is pretty easy to use. I love it.

Not recommended
The Xerox VersaLink C415 has poor ease of use, struggles with office network connectivity, making it frustrating for daily use. I contacted multiple times to the xerox service engineer to resolve the issues. still not able to resolve issue related to multiple pages prints when waking from sleep,

I got the printer in about three months ago and it has great print quality and is fast. My only problem is that is doesn't like to print envelopes. If I have one, it works. If I have more than one and I put the envelopes in the tray, it doesn't want to print them.

Not what we expected
For the money we spent I expected Xerox to give some support and a good machine. Out of the box nothing but trouble and the support was almost non existent. They want you to trouble shoot everything and cal someone in a foreign land and wait on hold for hours. Cannot perform in an office setting
If you want this printer at home, it may work for you. If you are a business or require a heavier-duty printer, this is not for you. You will run out of ink shortly after you buy it. You will not be able to print anything fancier than an 8.5 x 14” piece of paper. Please don’t buy if you need a commercial-grade printer. Buy a Ricoh or something like that.

Not overly impressed
I thought I was purchasing a great printer but I was wrong. The printer jams often, runs through ink like I never experienced, bleeds on approximately 10 pages every time it starts a job.
I recommend doing your homework on printers better than I did!

Very difficult to use in an office.
We have 2 printers in the office now. They are slow to receive print requests. We have run out of black toner in a few weeks and the printer will not accept another cartridge even though it is a new Xerox K toner cartridge. It codes as "incompatable". Very frustrating!!!!!

Do not buy this printer
We've had Xerox MFC's for over a decade & this one is the worst. We use it for OCR Scan to searchable PDF;
-Scan speed misleading. Sure it moves through the ADF fast but the printer sits processing the job for sometimes up to 10 minutes. The dinosaur 6515DN, C405 does the same thing within a minute. A $499 Brother MFC-L3780 absolutely destroys the C415 in OCR qualit...
