Would not connect to computer
The printer would not connect to the computer via USB after several attempts. The printer was sent back within 1 day as this is the second PIXMA printer we have attempted without success. It is not a computer issue as previous printers (Brother & HP) connect without problem. I do not recommend this brand.

Garbage printer
I bought this printer a while ago and have had nothing but issues with the printer head drying up and losing the Wi-Fi connection. I simply will not buy another Canon printer I would suggest everyone do the same. They are garbage and unreliable.

Not as Advertised
The printer & its software is not compatible with ARM / Snapdragon processors. Canon Tech said it's a known problem, but no fix is available.

Poor scanner
from day ! scanner pulls in original crooked and jams constantly, Starter ink gives about 20 pages max.

Starter Cartridges were Defective
Setup brought me as far as "Insert the Cartridges and Click Okay", before it hung. After multiple tries, I called Canon, who helped me to troubleshoot and determine that one or both starter cartridges were the cause. Canon sent replacement cartridges, and I was able to finish the installation.

Noisy; Sounds "Cheap"
I have not used the printer much since receiving it a few days ago but I noticed it is much louder than my former Epson. It should like it's made of all plastic inside; not sure if that's accurate. It does print and copy which is what I need but it just doesn't sound as "sound" as former Canon products I've owned. it was very inexpensive so I'm not totally surprised.

Great home printer
Love this printer even a late elderly like me can set it up. I don't need the fax no land line. Works with my android phone too. Fast delivery. Went to local staples store and asked questions and they answered all my questions before I bought it, store gets 5 stars too.
