No Frills Workhorse Copier/Scanner
I was looking for an upgrade that was not wireless (i.e. with a cable) and this was what was suggested by the helpful customer service person. The machine works as expected with no glitches at all.

Never Works
This printer is never working. It is on but I constantly get a "cannot connect to this printer". I am always having to restart it. I can't use any of the features like scan to computer, phone or email, none of them work. I have downloaded all the software but nothing works. Also, why do I need 10 pieces of software to work a printer? This is the most complicated printer...

Bought this and when it came I took it out of the box turned it on and installed cartridges and tried to proceed and immediately got error message 6000.Tried to do online fix does not work boxing it up now to send it back.Do not waste your time of money on this product.

I'm happy with the printer recommended by the Canon sales staff, after my old Pixma died and was not eligible for repairs (but really, who repairs a printer, anyway?) I like that there are only 2 types of ink cartridges to have on hand. I am trying the new print program.

Terrible quality printer
This is the worst printer. I bought it about 8 weeks ago, have used it maybe 5x (for small print jobs of a page or a few pages) and it stopped working today. I got an error, called support, and it has to be returned. My last Canon printer lasted 15 years and actually still works but the driver is no longer available.

I like it. I still haven't gotten my cellphone attached but both PC and tablet are working just fine.

Very nice printer!
The Pixma TR7820 is a very nice printer! Setup has been fairly easy and I am not very tech savy.

Great printer that does it all ...
A great printer that does it all ... easy set-up, add the supplied ink and paper and you are set to go. We use it as a network printer in our motorhome. My wife teaches elementary school so it gets a real work out.

Home use printer
So far a good printer for my needs easy to set up and easy to use. The one thing I don’t like so far is it turns itself off after a time resulting in a trip to the printer to turn it back on.

Not forced to join ink subscription! I love my Canon printer.
I received the printer quickly. Set up was easy. Printing is easy. Quality of photo printing is alright for a printer. I am happy I am not forced to join an ink subscription like my old HP printer(I threw it away!) I will be keeping this nice printer from Canon.

Good Printer for Home Use

Great printer, good features, good looks!
Not only does this printer look good, it does everything a home office needs! Print quality is great and
quick, have yet to use the scanning feature though but I do love the idea of IDF because our previous Canon did not have IDF. Easy setup and installation and looks good in our brand new home office.

Easy setup and it’s a beast!

Best printer
This printer came very well packaged. All of the pieces were present in the box. The setup with my computer was very quick and easy. I love that it is all in one so I don't need more than one piece of office equipment for all of my needs. It was great for scanning all of my Mom's old photo albums into a digital source!

High quality printer lives up to the Canon name
I was thrilled to receive and try the Canon PIXMA TR7820. It takes a couple minutes to set up and troubleshoot WiFi connections, but once it’s set up, it’s easy to use. The WiFi capability is awesome, and makes it simple to print from my computer or phone.

Easy to use!
Overall a great compact printer. This would be great for someone with a small office, or dorm room. It was very easy to set up and relatively quick. I would recommend this to anyone who has basic printing needs, and wants the easy access of having an app to connect to.

Easy to set up! Very functional in a small office.
The setup was super easy. It loaded quickly, and the directions were simple to follow. It connected quickly and easily to the wifi with no issues. Print quality was excellent, and the unit itself was relatively quiet. Overall, it is a very nice unit. My husband is using this in his office, and likes the how much functionality this unit has.

Easy installation and usage!
I just set this up and used it a few times. The set up was simple and so far we are loving it. This is a much appreciated addition to our homeschooling day!
