Office Basics Done Well
Big fan of these pens. Attention to detail is obvious as soon as you take it out of the package with the tip covers to ensure it writes the first time it touches paper.
The ink itself is the same shade and tone as any other major brand, and the tip width is nice. The tail end of pen strokes is finer and avoids sloppy blotches at the end of words.

Staples ProGel pen
They are not as good as the Staples Retractable Gel. The ink doesn't dry fast and smudges.
I had to order the Staples Gel online because the two Staples near me no longer carry this better product.

These are better than the Pilot G2
These are significantly better than the Pilot G2, for the fraction of the cost. The ink is slightly lighter, but they write noticeably smoother and feel just as good in your hand.
