Great Printer
Not only is this an easy printer to set up and use, the salesman was AWESOME. He was so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. He did not rush us, but answered all our questions on each printer. Great associate and person. We got the 4 year warranty because of his recommendation. Thank you.

Great Installation from iPhone
I was expecting a hassle and assumed I’d be calling my HP Smart Friend tech to help. Nope! I literally plugged it in and whalla all prompts from my phone went perfectly fine. At this time I am glad I purchased the support program.
1st call was the setup. Why did this become so complicated?
The second call to support I was directed to the HP Support Group. They re configured the printer so that it would concisely print documents.
Printing the TEST page was a solid black page.
Again, why does a new printer have to be so difficult to set-up?

Previous 8610 Office Pro had more every day uses. What Office printer doesn’t need 2- sided printing

Printhead Problem
This printer is terrible. I would not recommend purchasing it. Right at the 12 month point it stopped printing and displayed the Printhead Problem error message. This is not a repairable fault, the printhead is not easily replaced on this model. This is a known problem on this printer model. No USB Connectivity
I bought this model due to its USB connectivity. However, the USB slot was covered. When I removed the covering, I discovered that the USB connectivity has been disabled. I was so disappointed.

This printer is not worth the cost or hassle. The instant ink is so hard to dial in for a family. We wasted money for months with a more expensive plan, then dropped down to a plan with fewer pages and had to pay more because of multiple drafts printed of a school report. No printer ink control. HP Smart is a joke. Dumbed down AIO
Cannot control print lightness, darkness or do printhead maintenance of any kind. That feature has been completely removed from all menus and in printer properties! Printing really wets the paper with ink and prints, especially colored prints are over inked. Intant ink calculates a whole page for just an extra line of text. Printer tray is flimsy. Print quality just Okay
Print quality isn't great. I paid a certain price, the next day it was lower, contacted HP and the refunded me the difference right away.
