Not happy with the New HP printer

Print Quality is nice but...
The print quality is very nice. Printing is on the slower side. Most importantly, I have spent 5 times what the printer cost for ink in just three months. Specs say you can print up to 500 pages on a cartridge of ink. I am getting a very small fraction of that. I would not purchase this product again.

When installing, as wireless, on laptop and desktop computers the HP Smart App just keeps asking to many questions. Then you have to go back (physically) to the printer to answer the question on the control panel.

Old Ink
Setting up the printer was pretty easy. My problem was that the ink that came with the printer must have been old. I finally got the black in to print properly but the other colors never did. Luckily I belong to Instant Ink and ink is on the way! That will be the true test.

Free Ink issue
I am very happy with the printer and would have given 5 stars.
However, one of the reasons for buying this HP printerwas because o the free ink for 1 year. I was not abe o get this with theinfo provided. I cald HP for hlp and they were of nohelp at all. I fact on onecall the automated reponse actually ended the call becase it didn't recgnize my voice (?).

Easy Install
It was an easy installation straight out of the box, can’t do better than that. The price was a really good deal. All you get is some starter cartridges so I had to buy some real ink cartridges soon after.

An Okay All in One Printer
The all-in-one printer works well. My only issue is that there is not a quick, printer specific, app for this unit. There is only one universal HP Smart app. Not nearly as good as my prior HP all-in-one unit’s app. which was excellent.

Great home office printer
I was able to quickly replace an older HP printer with the 8193e. Set was quick and easy with the directions provided. With this printer I was able to use WiFi Printing,allowing me to have one less cable to deal with.

If you are looking for a simple printer then this is the one you will love, simple set up and very easy to use, plus it prints on both sides of paper. Free ink for a year really sealed the deal

Flimsy junk
Very disappointed in this printer.It has no output tray, the paper tray is flimsy and doesn’t hold the paper in place, the paper jams or crinkles, and paper jams are difficult to clear, printing is sporadic, and the control panel is difficult to use and doesn’t identify printer problems.
