This is a bad printer I should bring it back and trade for another one. Every time it makes a copy or prints something from my laptop it sounds like it’s ready to fall apart

I hate it!...my old one was so much better and easy to work. This one you have to have a 5 year college degree to set it up and you are still not sure if it is right. I should have had my old one fixed. Judy Henley

Not sure it will live
Printer is noisy with grinding noise when printing. Checked everything but to no avail. Cartridges go in okay but not with the click of the old one. Print quality is fine but it reverts to its default so you need to change every time two sided color 600 dpi. Had better hopes for the purchase as the old one was so good quiet quick etc.

Not great for business.
I needed an affordable printer. That's the only good thing about this printer. It's not very functional. If you change the paper you can't print unless you push the button that acknowledges you just opened the paper tray. You have to change the settings manually if you want to print envelopes then remember to change the settings back. It has a big delay between the p...

So far so good
We finally found a home printer with the features we needed: duplex print/scan fax color resize fast print ADF etc. So far we are not disappointed. The only compromise was that we are still using cartridges instead of tank. That was the speed trade-off. One other 'negative': a bit slow to turn on and off compared with our last HP. All-in-one OK but the electric plug is a problem.
I gave this only four stars because of the plug. The first printer I got the electric plug was so loose in the back of the printer that I had to stand there and wiggle it around to get the electric to connect. Noisy and slow
It is extremely noisy and takes a long time to print the first page of a document. Scanning is not plug and play. Ink is extremely expensive.

Compatibility
These printers are good but should be compatible with all computers regardless of age. General users are trapped when these devices are no longer compatible

Workhorse replacement
When my HP OfficeJet 8600 died after almost 10 years the HP 9135e appeared as a good replacement. While it is a little noisier than the 8600 the speed and print quality are excellent.
