Sadly we were disapointed with this printer. This is the 4th HP printer we have purchased over the years and probably the most expensive. My wife had a relatively cheap HP printer for many years and it performed first class with the Instant inks - she was printing up to 500 pages per month. I then bought her a replacement which performed badly by invariably mishandling ...

Decent printer
I have had HP printers for many years. Recently I needed a new printer. I decided on this one. It is a decent printer that meets my needs. Set up was more difficult than need be. The biggest drawback is the cost of the ink.

Good printer for small office
I have been using this for a few months. I really like it because it has 2 drawers and I keep envelopes in top drawer and paper in the bottom. I had a similar printer that only had 1 drawer and had to take the paper out to print envelopes. Quality of printing is good. Fax machine works well also.

Great at Print Quality - Poor in 2 Areas
The print quality is great for normal every day quality work. Pictures come out good as well. We have 3 different HP printers. This one exceeds the others. Getting ink is more difficult. Resize copy
Resizing is a real downgrade from previous models. It is a feature we use every day and now we have to drill down several layers until we find scale. Why did you change the name. Resizing is much better understood by the vast majority of users than scale. Resizing should be a button on the main screen.

Not happy
Terribly hard to get set up. Wouldn't connect and wouldn't work properly. Went online to try to get help, and they wanted to charge me a fee!!! Took my techy son 4 hours to get it working. Won't buy HP again

I purchased this printer with high hopes after reading the reviews but had to return the first one after continuous issues. Unfortunately, the replacement has the same exact issues - it connects to my network but the firmware updates repeatedly fail and it drops the Wi-Fi connection over and over. Could be better
On start up I have had an error message on several occasions which has cleared on a restart. The paper tray for printed documents is not deep enough compared with the HP printer that I have just retired

Not good
As someone who has worked in the tech field for over 30 years, I can honestly say I would never buy an HP printer after this. The interface for this printer is terrible. The little screen on the printer is basically worthless if you have large hands/fingers and don't have a magnifying glass to try to read the extra small fonts. I ended up returning this printer.
