Pretty Sweet
First I tried the printer/USB cable and it printed from my iMac computer. I didn’t even need to download any software. Next, I tried wireless from my iPad, just needed to make sure that they were both on the same Wi-Fi network and it printed great, no new software required. It’s a pretty sweet printer and meets my needs perfectly.

Unfortunately we had to return it
Hooked it up and it made a copy and printed a page. It would not scan the second date it stopped print in and copying. We deleted the printer and divers and downloaded the installation again. Still had problems so we returned it

What a welcome change from the usual Canon and HP experience! I wanted a printer that would be easy to set up and use in my business...not hours of frustration and searching for answers. Great printer /scanner.
Great printer /scanner. The only limitation that we've found is that we have two of them, and our laptops don't seem to be able to recognize both printers by wireless, we have to use wireless with one and a USB connection for the second.

Nice Printer!
Nice printer. A bit bulky but quick, with high quality print. No ink to mess with either. Also easy to set up. Scanner works just fine for letters etc. but not so good with smaller items like business or credit cards. Have not been able to find a shrink-to-size option so you get an 8 1/2 X 11 image with the credit card copied at actual size somewhere in the middle.

This is the 2nd or 3rd printer of this type I have bought. Very satisfied except couldn't get connected to Internet and it doesn't work with USB port extender that I need for other devices. My laptop only has 2 USB ports.

Scanning function
After scan document, rotate image and save document using Brother print/scan app, the saved document is NOT in the rotated position. It’s sideways or upside down. Very frustrating and annoying.

Don’t buy this product it sucks
I try to use the wi-fi which does not work well at all. Trouble with printing on 2 sides. I bought a brother for its reliability. Now it’s a mistake in getting it. I would not recommend this brother DCPL2640 wireless Black-and-white 3-in 1 Laser.

Love this printer!
Finally a printer that Prints on every device I have with no problems. Prints from our iPads, our iPhones, and the iOS computers.

Beyond Expectations
Such a wonderful and efficient printer.
I am on the refresh plan and so far very pleased.
I’m not handy with technical details but this printer makes it easy for me to achieve my needs.
Customer support has been great and the agent went over and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable with the situation I called them for.
I’m going to stick with Brother in the futu...

Great copier but light on operator instructions
I think the copier is great. I didn’t rate 5 stars because, although it was very easy to set up, it lacked operating instructions. It was only by trial and error to figure out the basic settings for copying. I’m still trying to get instructions on line.

Not happy
Disappointed in the machine. It would not connect correctly to my WiFi even though my previous Brother printer connected fine. Had to contact Tech Support and was charged $95.00 to correct the problem which should never have happened in the first place! I won’t buy another Brother printer!

Brother DCPL2640DW
We purchased this brother printer a couple of months ago. It arrived and the setup was extremely easy. The printer works so well, and the wireless works very well. There have been a couple of updates, and they were easy to install. I would recommend this printer
