I love the printer. It’s exactly what I need. I replaced the old similar model because it had trouble keeping Wi-Fi connection for printing. I bought this model because its supposedly resolved this issue.

Solid, reliable, works well.
Had it for a few months, works well, clear sharp text. Big improvement over ink-jet, especially for occasional use, no concerns with ink drying up and not printing. Only complaint is inability to TURN OFF the long loud beep whenever I send a print job to the printer.

Noisy
I considered this machine to be noisy when printing. Its scanning amenity is quiet. It comes overly boxed.

Good printer!
Our old Brother HL-2280DW printer finally broke down after 12 years of service, so we bought this one. The installation was very simple, and it works beautifully!

Overly Complicated
The hardware works great, that deserves 5 stars, but the driver, setup and web interface is so much more complicated then it needs to be. I do not recommend for low-tech users or users without constant WIFI access

Good product; reasonably priced.
Easy to use except for figuring out how to scan directly from printer to laptop file. Can print from laptop. To printer and save.

Performs as advertised
I've had this Brother Printer/Scanner/Copier for about 3 months. I've done regular printing and 2-sided printing and copying. These have worked perfectly. It was easy to figure out what steps to take to accomplish these tasks without having to look at the manual. So far it has done everything I've wanted done with no problems. I'm glad I bought it.

Nice printer!
This printer is replacing a Cannon ink jet printer as I finally got fed up with clogging ink jet nozzles! I don't really need color prints so this black only laser jet is perfect for my applications. Setup was quick and easy and with the Brother app I really enjoy the ability to print directly from my cellphone. I should have bought this years ago! Used it a dozen time...

Do Not Buy this Piece of Garbage!
Do not buy! Wifi setup is terrible. Changing pw for printer ridiculous. Support on website has been hacked, my c/c got scammed and I had to cancel it. A disaster, after many Brother printers over +20 years that were work horses and easy to operate, low maintenance. Replaced with a Canon inkjet.

I'm switching brands
I bought a Brother multifunction printer for my office last year. Last week I bought a second Brother for myself. Much better build quality than my old Epson. Im sold on Brother printers.

Great Price Point
Outstanding product - relatively easy set up. Only minor irritant is typing in WiFi password using up/down arrows with ok button… once you figure out that layout - not so bad… great copy & print features - simple to use. If you are looking for a black&white printer - this is it.

Great printer, though it's very sensitive to power surges. It's the only printer in my house that goes off line every time electricity blinks off and on. And we have 4. All brothers brand.
