Disconnection issue, do not waste your money
I wish I had followed advice from customers having trouble with the frequent disconnections. It's just a source of stress. Every time you need it, you spend 30min tweaking to make it connect back to your network. What a piece of garbage.

Disconnection issue, do not waste your money
I wish I had followed advice from customers having trouble with the frequent disconnections. It's just a source of stress. Every time you need it, you spend 30min tweaking to make it connect back to your network. What a piece of garbage.

Efficient printing
Works perfectly, quick printing speed and it connected seamlessly with my Mac computer. I would highly recommend purchasing this is if you own a business or are in school.

Does not scan a 2-sided doc.
Pay attention to the scanning capabilities. We didn't and this model does not scan a two-sided document using the document feeder. While it prints one-sided from a two-sided document, it doesn't scan. On-line information indicates there is a menu option to select two-sided to one scan. Hardware is fine, software abysmal
Hardware is typical, but unlike previous versions of this printer, installation on each pc has to have brother’s drivers installed and they are abysmal.

Good product, good price, cheap operation

Does the job
Compared to HP my new Brother printer is far superior. I like the fact that the toner is far easier to install than ink cartridges. I don’t require anything fancy and this machine does the trick. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that it lasts for a while. Couldn’t possibly be any worse than my experiences with HP.

Problems
I used this to replace a Brother printer I'd had for 15 years. This one tripped my circuit breakers every time I tried to print something. Setup was difficult. I had to call the company to help set it up. Finally, right out of the box it was louder than the 15-year old Brother I was replacing. I'm going to give Brother another shot and choose a different printer.

Non technical and can't set it up..
I am sure once my hired tech guy connects it it will be fine (he's going to check it out today) but my assistant and I tried (we are both over 70) and could not get it working...very disappointing.
