Pretty Sweet
First I tried the printer/USB cable and it printed from my iMac computer. I didn’t even need to download any software. Next, I tried wireless from my iPad, just needed to make sure that they were both on the same Wi-Fi network and it printed great, no new software required. It’s a pretty sweet printer and meets my needs perfectly.

Unfortunately we had to return it
Hooked it up and it made a copy and printed a page. It would not scan the second date it stopped print in and copying. We deleted the printer and divers and downloaded the installation again. Still had problems so we returned it

Garbage
This printer is complete garbage. It constantly loses connectivity and will not reconnect after multiple restarts, including resetting your router. Don't waste your money. It doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Brother HLL2480DW Laser Ink Jet Printer, Copier,
I like my choice with this printer, copier & Scan. Setup was easy and I like the laser ink due I do not print often and the powdered ink will last longer then the liquid.

Convienent & Fast!
I needed a new printer & I’m past the days of printing pics at home. I wanted something more reliable to handle documents & this is fantastic. It’s bigger than old printer but not overwhelming, super fast & does exactly what I need.

Just what I needed
I don’t print a lot, so for me a laser is the only way to go. This one prints, scans and copies, and automatically prints on both sides of the paper. The scanner does a beautiful job at the 1200x1200 resolution. Setup was easy for the hard-wired connection. I didn’t try the wireless setup because I don’t care about that. I don’t print often and my HP 4500 ink would sometimes dry up between uses.
Finally it got the dreaded error code and it was time to replace the 4500.

Printers out of box need to be more reliable
Purchased this printer from Staples, delivered to home, set up unit but did not work. Returned printer, exchanged for another brand. The HP printer replacement didn't work, replaced it with another that worked. Staples did not have a Brother in stock to replace the defective one.

So far it's been my favorite over the years. I dont print anything in color so why have to buy color ink to enable printing in black?

OK printer for the price
Very limited instructions although in 5 different languages, insuring the confusion is global. Printer prints and scans as advertised. Haven't figured out how to copy yet. Finally connected wirelessly to my laptop only to find the connection lost the next day. Clearer instructions would help with this.

We bought this little laser printer for home use because we were sick of our Canon inkjet.
