Compact workhorse
Good replacement for my 15-yr-old HL-2270DW. That unit was working well, except that the rubber rollers had gotten slick with age, and it didn't make sense to buy the replacement parts. Same footprint, but a bit faster, and AirPrint is a big benefit.

Printer stopped working
My printer stopped working about two months after I got it. According to the app, I have a paper jam. I do not. I took apart everything, and I am still not able to clear the message, so the printer will not print.

New Brother printer replaces 1994 model
We replaced a 1994 Brother HL-5250DN laser printer with an HLL2460DW. Same superb design; three times the speed; two-thirds the size. Excellent products. Thank you.

Exceeds my expectations

Nice printer for home office
Good b&w printer for home office use. High quality printouts, holds large amount of paper, prints 2 sided. Only complaint is that it's noisy.

Breath of fresh air!
A breath of fresh air! So simple to set up. Glad i choose Brother Laser Printer. Past printers were HP and got fed up with the ink issuses. Recommend this printer for home or office!

So sad.
The most horrible device I have ever purchased. After weeks of frustration of wrestling the tiny, on-board screen and nebulous directions, I had the great pleasure of tossing it into black hole in my garage.
The comparable (and almost identical), Brother monochrome that I had before this, was a pleasure to do business with.

It works. It’s fairly fast. The ink was depleted way faster than I expected. Double-sided printing is a hassle —I can’t do it from my phone, only my laptop. I ask can’t figure out if it scans or not.

Exceeded Expectations

If you're replacing an older printer, maybe don't
Wonky with ARM, eating toner. I miss my old Brother Laser printer; the quality has gone down from the systems a decade ago

Deep Sleep Printer Problem
I bought the HL-L2405 because I was very satisfied with my other Brother printers. However, this model is very disappointing and I may return it because its performance is terrible because of the Deep Sleep setting.
