Printer cannot print envelopes without damage
Disappointed. Printer cannot print envelopes without damaging them. Fixes clumsy in impermanent.

WiFi connection is clunky.
The interface to connect to WiFi is very user unfriendly and clunky.

5 star printer let down by the ink hard sell.
This is a fantastic printer, well made, sharp, speedy, compact and reliable on wifi. I have no complaints about the hardware. I put it on my network, and my linux computer just started printing to it. No problem. The issue I have is the built in monitoring and constant ink sales pitch if you run the brother software on a windows machine. It's a blemish on what is otherw...

Sleep Mode
Goes into deep sleep and it’s hard to get documents to print. Otherwise works great.

Do not buy--says toner is out when it's not
Bought this last month and today it says "toner needed." Toner is fine, the last page it printed today is as dark as the first page it printed a month ago. And none of the toner reset workarounds on the internet work. Brother has programmed this printer to say "toner needed" when the toner is still fine--for profit. A waste of ink and money.

Jammed Printer Fails
The Jam indicator is showing and I have removed and cleared the jam. Even used a blower to clear dust or clean sensors. Still gives paper jam message. Not a Good Printer

New printer second Brother
Nice printer, good quality prints. Printer has on/sleep issues for us. Many times have to reconnect or try to get it ready as it reads off line.
