Wasn’t what I asked
Not what I asked for but was assured what I needed. Bought, tried, didn’t work and brought back. Didn’t try again. Young man seemed to have no clue. Found it somewhere else. First time I had a problem with Staples.

USB-C works great
No problems charging. Not sure if it will transmit data also. Just learned that some might not be universal use.
